Today we celebrate the short life of Aaliyah though passed on in 2001, Aaliyah is still a huge figure in music today. The late singer who debuted in 1994 at the age of 15 with the R. Kelly produced "Age Ain't Nothing but a Number" Aaliyah has sold over 40 million records world wide and has influenced singers such as Ciara, Rihanna, Keyshia Cole and others. Though Aaliyah left this world at the age of only 22 she had a short but remarkable career starring in "Romeo Must Die" and "Queen of the Damned" and releasing 3 number one albums. We celebrate you Aaliyah Diana Haughton.
